[ Inviting Chloe on this family trip to the beach was probably the best decision she’s ever made, even if it did take some charming and convincing. It’s just a shame that it took them so long to get there.
It’s already dark by the time they settle into their bungalow near the water, and her parents were pretty clear about waiting until morning for any actual fun, but Rachel’s feeling contrary and she isn’t about to let that stop her.
In the middle of the night after making sure her parents are asleep, Rachel slips into her bikini and covers up with her favorite black-and-red plaid. She sneaks over to Chloe’s bed—easy, since they’re sharing a room—and starts to gently shake her. ]
